Why did I start this blog?

Well I got sick and tired scouring the web for good places to buy computer / technology stuff online, and then having to worry about whether or not a vendor would ship to canada from the US and also dealing with loads of bookmarks or trying to remember addresses, so I thought I'd gather the best of my knowledge unto one place and call to others as well about the best places online to find technology to buy.

Also don't you wonder if the reviews on some sites for something you want to buy has been doctored or filtered by the business website itself? So consider this a call to the "community" about stuff they've bought or owned. For instance I've had the most problems with wireless Dlink and linksys routers for instance, the dlink constantly disconnects / reboots itself causing DSL with PPPoE to disconnect momentarily as it relogs the router back into the Internet service provider. As for the linksys, every so often it either freezes or disconnects ONLY the wireless connections. Not to mention Dlinks terrible warranty service.

So here's to hoping I can find some PC enthusiast canadians that are fed up with looking around trying to get good deals within their own home country online.
